A great taboo full of angst. The obstacles they are trying to overcome is heartbreaking. Their journey is truly a wild ride. Can’t wait to see the next part.
I didnt realize this was a second book in a series and if i had then I probably would have seen that both characters were twin brothers. I'm okay with some taboo books about step siblings or maybe even adopted/foster siblings depending on the closeness of the relationship but twins that are actually blood related was a bit of stretch for me but I did continue to read it anyway and if this is your thing then you may enjoy it. I signed up for the arc not paying attention that it was a sequel to a first book and it said nothing in the description about them being brothers for this one because i assume its because your suppose to know by reading the first one?so yeah if you plan on reading this one then make sure you read the first story first because I feel like I've missed a lot on how the two boys found each other and how they began their taboo romance. I just saw it was from lina Langley and I really enjoyed the last book I read by her so i decided to give this one a try. It was a cute and sweet quick romance between two people who found each other due to the other one out seeking revenge but then falling for each other instead. This book continues the story of them keeping their secret from the world and trying to decide how they should continue their relationship and don't seem to be on the same page about certain things but one things for certain, they both love each other and have an attraction they cant ignore and then jules fathers walks in on them and it's time to come clean about everything, about jules sexuality and about who Mason really is. It was different and interesting but probably not something I would pick up again just because it's not really my type of trophe.Thry were raised in two different families and met when they were older and I know it's not real but I still couldn't get past the fact that they were twin brothers and they kept mentioning how it was like kissing themselves or looking in a mirror. But I still trucked on giving it a chance because she is a good writer and I did enjoy another book i read by her.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I read Hard Glass and was waiting for the story to continue. It is a bit taboo as they are twins, but they were not raised together and sometimes the heart wants what it wants. I sympathized with their parents who were trying to do what they thought best but that set up them finding one another and becoming a couple. It is a bit naughty but not sometimes naughty just is. I look forward to their story continuing.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this continuation of Mason and Jules' story. The angst, uncertainty, and struggle to be together were touching, and I loved the decisions they eventually made. I sympathize with both their fathers and acknowledge that they were acting in what they thought was the boys' best interests, but you can't fight love. I love twincest stories, but for those who are bothered by sexual relationships between biological brothers, you may want to pass on this one. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the sexual tension and eroticism. I look forward to the next part of their story.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I've read several books written by Lina Landley; she has done a great job at writing a fantastic book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.I loved the chemistry between the characters.I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the continuing story of Mason and Jules , twin brothers who are dealing with their taboo relationship. Things come to a head when Jule's father walks in on them. It's an emotional story of forbidden love in others eyes and a heartbreaking love for each other. The author does a great job bringing the emotions through the pages.I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Totally intense and heartbreakingly passionate. Even as you read and know it’s wrong you want a happy ending. All the pain and agony that Mason endured to even get to where he is mind boggling. This story pulls at your guts and against all odds you wish things could be different.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really gave the book a chance, however this was just too much for me. I just could not get past the fact they are twins brothers. Yes, they were raised in 2 different worlds, but just not ok on any level for me. She is a good writer , this is just one book I could not get past.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
